Most people wear sunglasses. They are necessary to protect your eyes, of course. And you can wear then to make a fashion statement. These fun glasses come in the colors of the rainbow and more: red, orange, yellow, green, aqua (turquoise), blue, indigo, violet (purple), magenta (rose) and pink.
How Do Colors Affect Us?
Different colors may affect you in different ways. Red may give you a feeling of security and safety or a sense of power. Orange may give you social confidence. Yellow may bring mental clarity and cheerfulness. Green is peaceful. Aqua (turquoise) can be soothing. Blue may bring mental relaxation. Indigo may bring serenity. Violet may calm your nerves. Magenta (rose) is relaxing and gentle. Pink may bring stress relief.
These are the same glasses which have been used for many years as color therapy glasses. You can wear them just for the fun of it. But at the same time, you can reap the benefits of the color therapy.
Cautions
Please note that wearing colored glasses may darken your vision. If you wear them inside the house for the color therapy benefits, be aware that some of the colors may make it difficult to see. If you wear them while driving, be sure that the color you are wearing does not darken object and make them difficult to see. Also, and this is important, some of the colors will change the perceived color of traffic lights! Just be careful.
