It must make you feel very frustrated when you find your new pair of prescription glasses get some scratches. Some minor scratches can be removed with the following tips. You have to take your glasses to the shop to get rid of the scratches if you can not remove them by yourself.
1, Make a detailed study to your glasses with the complete instruction of the original glasses. Check the age of your glasses and get to know the material of your eyeglasses. Are the lenses made of the plastic or glasses? Some lenses are made with the coating on the surface. The material will decide the ways to get rid of the scratches on the surface.
2, Make out the damage level and the exact area of the scratches in the glasses. You should not buff the scratches like the glass or crystal products. Otherwise, it will damage the lenses. If the scratches on the glasses are very deep, that may can not be removed but to change a pair of new glasses. The minor scratches on the glasses can be removed completely much easier.

4, If the scratches are hard to remove with the lens cleaners, you can try the metal polish and a piece of soft cloth. Rub the glasses for about 5 minutes. Wash the lenses with soap in the warm water. The scratches should disappear in the process.
