How to Clean Eyeglass Lenses

Eyeglasses can be an expensive purchase. Properly cleaning and caring for the eyeglasses not only prolongs the life of the glasses, but also ensures you can see clearly through them. Although a combination of soap and water can clean lenses, it is not recommended to be used when cleaning glasses that have a protective treatment, such as an anti-glare. Not only can the soap leave behind a film, it can actually slowly eat away at the coating.
