How to Remove Fog From Eyeglasses

Fogged glasses that obstruct your vision can be a dangerous nuisance if you are driving or walking down a street. It can also be irritating if you are wearing sports goggles that constantly fog up as you play. Thankfully, there are several measures you can take to help eliminate fogging.

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:
Baking Soda
Anti-fogging spray or Unisol 4 Saline Solution

•1Remove your glasses for several minutes and let them defog naturally. Sometimes the humidity in the air causes your glasses to fog up.

•2Spray your glasses with anti-fogging solution if the first step does not have long-lasting success. Anti-fogging spray can found at most drug-stores. If you have sensitive eyes, however, you may find that the spray irritates your eyes.

•3Use Unisol 4 Saline solution if you have sensitive eyes. Prior using this solution, wash your hands with baking soda.

•4Rinse your glasses thoroughly with the baking soda.

•5Squeeze approximately two to three drops of the saline solution on the the inner corner of your lens. Make sure to do this for both lenses. Place the glasses on before the solution completely dries. The solution prevents your glasses from fogging up.

Tips & Warnings
Preservative-free solutions must be refrigerated and used within a week of opening.
Be careful not to get the solution directly into your eyes as this could lead to infection..
